The Regional Training Coordinator (Eastern) is dedicated to the clients account and is responsible for developing a standardized, scalable program specifically focused towards Onboarding, Training and Development (OTD) that ensures that the uniformed services provided at any facility meet or exceed the requirements set forth in policy, contracts, procedures, and applicable laws. In coordination with GS OEG leadership and other partners within the Global Security organization, the Regional Training Coordinator is responsible for guiding the training and instructional leadership of all data center security staff, both Physical Security and Security Operations Center. This role will build an assessment program for the security team. This position will develop computerized tools in a dedicated portal and with an optimized ability to review training records electronically as well as create proactive training plans based upon Data Center ongoing information analyses. This role will involve some travel (approximately three per year to each site within the applicable regions)

Align and channel all Global Security training impacting Data Center security teams
Work closely and align with the DC SOC and DCSM Training Captains
Development of training to support the Metrics & Documentation team’s roll out of new and upgraded SOPs, Protocol and Metrics requirements
Develop training to support OSSP and GSST’s roll out of new security systems
Support site Training Supervisors and FTO’s in the creation of a site training plan and site-specific training material, ensuring training plans are aligned to Global Security requirements Conduct scheduled audits of both DC SOC and Physical Security team’s operational performance against standards, SOPs, Protocols and any other applicable measurements
Conduct a training gaps and needs analysis for security teams
Develop a central database/repository of approved global security training materials for site Training Supervisors and FTO’s
Develop a comprehensive Onboarding training program for new security staff at the data centers for both DC SOC and Physical Security teams

Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Engineering, Computer Science, Technical Communications, or similar fields; or equivalent practical experience
