Job Overview

The program focuses on evaluating our client's confidential internal initiatives and security posture for development projects. By further evaluating these areas, we can better understand which variables we can manage, the risks identified, and which require security integration. From the point of conception to down cycling, the IP Protection team works daily to protect projects and support development teams to keep confidential projects moving forward.


Working alongside the visionaries of our client's presents the opportunity to work in highly confidential and unique workspaces. The GSSPS team is thoughtful in our approach in protecting our client's confidential projects and initiatives by introducing simple solutions that do not impede on creative environments and enable business productivity. Please note, all teams are working from home during the pandemic. Once on- site operations are re-established, physical presence is required at the client facility

How You Will Make An Impact

  • Lead a team of security professionals responsible for developing team framework thorough product life cycle. Framework initiatives include but are not limited to security guidelines, new processes, standards, training content, risk assessment process improvements and vendor engagements
  • Develop a deep understanding of the business by maintaining on-going engagements with internal teams to deliver quality solutions
  • Build strategic relationships with cross functional partners to integrate company initiatives with GSSPS security services
  • Interpret the customer security needs/requirements in order to facilitate and develop the necessary and appropriate services and solutions that would enable the speed of the business
  • Lead Product Risk Assessment process improvements (Risk classification, risk identification and risk mitigation plan) working with GSSPS and cross-functional teams
  • Attend cross functional & GSSPS meetings to analyze business scenario and identify integrations plan to support the teams
  • Provide subject matter expertise to all stakeholders involved throughout the planning, execution, and maintenance phases
  • Support project prioritization review to identify the list of priorities connected to company’s goals
  • Develop scalable processes that can support company’s vision and product’s roadmap
  • Partner with cross-functional, Global Security and GSSPS teams when developing and delivering integrations processes
  • Represent Integrations team in cross-functional meetings and share Integrations projects with leadership when required
  • Represent yourself as a responsible steward for Global Security
  • Build cross-functional partnerships: Collaborate with cross-functional and connect GSSPS projects with company's initiatives
  • Develop internal/external standards to create, reinforce and maintain a culture of confidentiality with company's employees and third parties
  • Work with strategic partners to develop security mitigations that protect company's products/projects in the end to end process.


What You Will Need To Succeed

  • High School diploma or GED required  
  • 5 years’ experience managing a team in a global setting required  
  • 3 years’ experience working within Lean practices and principles to create solutions required  
  • Experience and knowledge of the product development process for in demand consumer products.
  • Risk assessment process knowledge required
  • Ability to respond to ambiguous situations and have the knowledge to constantly prioritize the most important work
  • Strong collaborator with proven ability to build successful cross functional relationships across all levels of the organization
  • Outstanding customer service, communication, and presentation skills
  • Possesses excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated analytic, strategic and critical thinking skills that drive results
  • Able to write clearly and succinctly in technical and non-technical formats
  • Ability to travel (including internationally)
  • Ability to make connections between company’s resources (e.g. share points, documents, XFN processes) and the GSSPS objectives
  • Excellent computer skills and comprehension of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience and knowledge in the technology field supporting intellectual property and asset protection
  • Experience with working in an international environment and amongst various business cultures
  • Supply Chain Security and Logistics operations experience.
  • Project Management Certifications, Six Sigma Certification, or Lean+ experience
  • Experience and knowledge of CTPAT, AEO, TAPA and other industry and/or government security programs
