Job Overview

The Global Security organization protects the business by building and providing security products and services which mitigate risk to our people, assets, and reputation. Global Security Strategic Initiatives (GSSI) develops global programs to optimize processes, mitigate risk, and drive strategic results to support the mission of the company and Global Security. Within GSSI is the Global Security Business Insights and Analytics (BIA) team, partnering with teams across Global Security to achieve North Star goals of our security products and services through timely, actionable, data informed insights.

A successful Global Security Strategic Content Strategist is someone who 1) Understands how business leaders consume information and seeks to tailor and enhance value through effective messaging and storytelling 2) Can assess the value of the narrative and recommend messaging to hit the mark on impact, 3) Can conduct research and ask the tough questions to build on narrative foundations, and 4) Is comfortable working within matrixed, evolving and innovative environment where projects are built and scaled.

This is a new role within BIA and a senior individual contributor position containing significant autonomy and ownership, asking the right questions, and building impact towards shared understanding of a North Star vision.

How You Will Make An Impact

  • Act as the central conduit for all structured insights content created by the Business Insights and Analytics team
  • Manage and analyze the suite of insights delivered to partners and stakeholders, recommending new ways to scale the impact and value through effective messaging and positioning
  • Ensure understanding of content goals, recommend pathways to enhance outcomes by understanding targeted outcomes, and execute on content plan to deliver meaningful insights to partners and stakeholders
  • Understand the organizational strategy and leverage knowledge to analyze and assess opportunities that will increase outcomes through a suite of strategic content
  • Leverage data and partner insights for strategy development, decision making, content optimization, and new concept development

What You Will Need To Succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Business, or a related discipline with 5+ years of work experience in your field
  • Passion for storytelling and asking the tough questions to get to the goal, purpose, and targeted outcomes of the story
  • Excited to help standardize the BIA brand under a unified narrative of impact
  • Self-Starter – Ability to operate independently with solely overarching direction and bring XFN partners and leaders in when needed to navigate questions/feedback
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Excellent written and oral skills
  • Creative problem-solving skills, and a growth mindset approach
  • Experience managing across highly matrixed organizations, often with competing priorities
